Can it tell me whether I should take this medication?
No, and we don't intend to build that. It never judges a condition, recommends medication, or evaluates a treatment plan. Everything it organizes comes only from what the doctor said during this visit, and every line links back to the original audio. Ask something outside the recording, and it says clearly "the doctor didn't mention this," then adds it to your next question list. Any medication change should go through your doctor or pharmacist.
Could it make a condition sound worse than it is?
Term explanations only explain what a word means — no prognosis, no complication lists, no survival rates. We deliberately skip "possible cause" features — that's the kind of thing that keeps people up at 2am on search engines.
Why not just use my phone's built-in recorder?
You can, but three things are different in practice: phone recording means unlocking, finding the app, and tapping start — and a call mid-visit cuts it off, while the card starts with one press; the card has dual microphones with noise cancelling, clear even across a desk or through a mask; and with phone recording you still have to listen back and organize it yourself, while here that summary page is already written by the time you leave the room.
Can my parents actually use this?
It stays stuck to the phone, so there's no separate device to forget at home. Just one button on top. The app has a large-text mode with only three functions: view this visit, replay audio, call the kids. The finished summary page can be pushed straight to a child's phone — a parent doesn't have to operate anything at all.
Does it work in languages besides English?
Yes — it's tuned for accents and speech patterns across dozens of languages, not just English. Anything uncertain gets flagged, never guessed for you. You can also add your own regular medications and conditions to the glossary so similar-sounding terms don't get mixed up.
Do you review my recordings?
Never for manual review, and never for ads or insurance recommendations. Data is stored encrypted, and you can delete any recording entirely at any time. If you choose fully local mode, audio never leaves the device and your phone.
Will it affect charging or signal?
The magnetic ring is offset from the wireless charging coil, so normal wireless charging isn't affected; the metal backplate is designed around antenna clearance. If your phone case is thicker than 3mm, use the adhesive patch in the box instead.
What if I lose it at the hospital?
"Find My" support shows the last connected location. The card carries no name or medical info printed on it, and whoever finds it can't read the contents either — storage is encrypted and only opens with the paired phone.
