Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
ROGENT MED ("ROGENT", "we") builds MED CARD, a clinical visit recorder. This policy explains what we collect and how we protect it. Because our product touches health-related information, privacy is central to how we operate.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name and profile picture.
- Order data: items purchased, shipping address, and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Recordings & visit records: audio you capture with MED CARD and the summaries generated from it. These are stored encrypted; you and, where you choose, your doctor hold copies.
How we use it
- To create your account, fulfil orders, and provide the service.
- To generate your plain-language visit summaries.
- To send transactional messages (verification codes, receipts, shipping updates).
Security & compliance
Recordings are chain-locked in 30-second slices inside a secure chip. Our processes align with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, and we handle personal and health data consistent with HIPAA and GDPR principles. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by contacting info@rogent.app. Recordings are yours to delete at any time.
Payments & third parties
We use Stripe for payments, Google/Apple for optional sign-in, and Resend for email delivery. Each processes only the data needed for its function.
